The Fatigue topology optimization of orthotropic materials

Abstract Combining with the constitutive relation of orthotropic materials, a fatigue topology optimization model considering materials is established based on Independent Continuous Mapping (ICM) method. It uses minimum structural mass as objective, element life constraint condition, and criterion The filtration function, stiffness function are introduced to identify whether material retained. effectuality method verified by several numerical examples, influence different filter coefficients results explored. This paper has some theoretical significance for properties components in conceptual design stage.
